Sylvain the Librarian is a songwriter & a librarian by trade. He’s been recording music on his own since late 2006, using garageband & low production skills, his old acoustic guitar, garageband’s so-called “software instruments,” a couple of melodicas & a ukulele, and hints of a Casio keyboard. His music navigates between pop and folk, acoustica and electronica; his song are often melancholy, even when they appear to be jaunty; they’re also short, sweet and straight to the point! Staff Only No Viking is Sylvain’s second solo effort. Before recording it, he bought a proper microphone.
